Happy birthday to us! We’re excited to celebrate a major milestone at TAG Solutions: 2021 is the 30th anniversary of when we began working with businesses in the New York Capital Region to achieve their information technology and telecommunication goals. We wanted to find the best way to celebrate our anniversary and show our appreciation by giving back to the communities that have given so much to us over the past 30 years.

One of the biggest initiatives that we’ll be implementing this year is a volunteer program for our employees. Employees will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of non-profit organizations in the Albany area, including local food pantries, animal shelters, and other organizations making a difference in the community. We’ve been honored to have worked with so many businesses in the Albany region over the last 30 years, and we feel it’s only right to show our appreciation by giving back to the community that has supported us from the start. This initiative will also allow employees to work with non-profit organizations that they are sincerely passionate about. Initially we thought about selecting one or two organizations to work with depending on what our staff as a whole felt strongly about, but we realized that we have such a dedicated team of employees who are passionate about so many different causes that it would create a much bigger impact on the community if each employee could work with a non-profit that means a lot to them personally. After all, our employees are a huge part of why we’ve been able to thrive and expand over the past decades.

From the start, we’ve been focused on providing the best solutions for our customers’ needs. TAG Solutions initially started as a telecommunications company, installing cables and phone systems in offices and businesses. As technology evolved, we grew and evolved as well, eventually transforming into one of the top managed service providers in the Capital Region. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that our company really saw how essential our services were for a variety of businesses. We saw so many businesses having a sudden and urgent need for adaptable and secure network systems as their employees transitioned to a work-from-home environment. Due to our team of dedicated and skilled technicians, we were able to help our customers make that transition without interruption to their network or access to their software and data. In addition, there was also a strong need for comprehensive solutions for many of the schools that we work with. Many schools needed to transition very quickly to a virtual school environment, which required that every student have the right devices and network access to enable them to continue their education without disruption. Thankfully, we were able to provide this service to our customers in a fast and organized manner, which dramatically reduced the stress that both the teachers and students were experiencing during this unprecedented time.

Working to provide fast, effective, and positive results for our customers is something we pride ourselves on.
